Sterling Automotive Group is seeking experienced professionals to join our Collision Center as either a Body Shop Technician. This position plays a vital role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Repair and replace damaged vehicle body panels and components.

Perform structural and non-structural repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Inspect vehicles and identify repair requirements.

Utilize welding, measuring, and repair equipment as needed.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Follow company policies, manufacturer procedures, and safety standards.

Maintain quality workmanship and productivity expectations.

Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's values and commitment to customer service.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience as a Master Certified Technician or advanced Automotive Technician preferred.

Must be at least 21 years of age or possess a minimum of three years of licensed driving experience.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems.

Leadership, coaching, and technician training experience preferred.

Ability to effectively dispatch work and manage shop workflow.

Knowledge of manufacturer repair procedures, technical service bulletins (TSBs), and warranty requirements.

Ability to operate diagnostic equipment, dealership management systems, and manufacturer software platforms.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
