PRESCHOOL DANCE ASSISTANT
LA Dance Academy – Covington, LA
LA Dance Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic Preschool Dance Assistant to help support our youngest dancers ages 2–6.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, has a positive attitude, and wants to be part of a fun, encouraging dance environment. Dance experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist instructors during preschool dance classes
- Help dancers stay focused and engaged during class
- Support classroom management and transitions
- Assist children with basic dance skills and activities
- Help create a positive, welcoming environment for dancers and families
- Prepare props and classroom materials as needed
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with young children
- Positive, patient, and encouraging personality
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
- Dance experience required
- Experience working with children is a plus

Afternoon and evening hours available.
