Travel Mental Health Technician (MHT)
Location: Williamsburg, VA
Contract: 8 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP (08/10/2026)
Shift: Nights | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (8-Hour Shifts)
Pay Rate
Hourly Rate : $27.5/hr
Weekly Pay: $1,100
Taxable W2: $13/hr
Weekly Stipends :$580 per week
Overtime: $34/hr W2
Requirements
- Minimum 1 Year of Mental Health Technician (MHT) Experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced behavioral health environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Compassionate and empathetic toward patients with addiction and mental health needs
- Must be comfortable being active and on your feet throughout the shift
- Handle With Care certification required (onsite training available if needed)

- Detox, Residential Treatment, and Partial Hospitalization Programs
- Voluntary Treatment Facility
- No restraints except in extreme circumstances
- No injections required
- Ancillary support includes MDs, NPs, PAs, Counselors, and Social Workers
- Overtime: 1.5× after 40 hours/week (if applicable)
