What You'll Be Doing
As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while developing valuable specialty healthcare experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Rooming patients and preparing them for appointments
- Obtaining and accurately documenting vital signs
- Maintaining and updating patient information within the EMR system
- Assisting providers during examinations and in-office procedures
- Learning and supporting catheter placements and specialty treatments through hands-on training
- Preparing, cleaning, and disinfecting exam rooms between patient visits
- Maintaining organized clinical spaces and restocking supplies
- Triaging incoming patient calls and assisting with care coordination
- Supporting providers and patients throughout the treatment process
- Delivering compassionate, patient-centered care at every interaction
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with clinical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Medical Assistant experience
- EMR experience (Athena experience is a plus)
- Interest in learning specialty procedures and expanding clinical skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient volumes and clinic needs
- Willingness to float between clinic locations when needed
