Under the direction of the Warehouse Logistics Supervisor, responsible for the efficient, safe, and accurate movement and control of all inventory items, including inbound/outbound freight activities.
- Ensure that production work orders and freight shipments are properly issued, received, labeled, loaded, unloaded, racked and/or shipped.
- Inspect materials for visible defects or damage and document. Audit and ensure materials match inventory in BAAN MRP system. Report any discrepancies.
- Operate RF scanners (if applicable) to record all related materials handling transactions.
- Use material handling equipment such as forklift, power & manual hand jacks, and pallet wrappers to move components & finished goods in a safe, efficient manner. Ensure weight of each load is distributed properly for safe movement and storage of materials.
- Ensure inventory shortages are reported and documented timely to facilitate on-time replenishment or necessary notifications.
- Complete mandated forms (i.e., Material Transfer Sheets, Load Sheets, and BOL’s) accurately and legibly.
- Verify counts and remove all components & scrap at end of each production run. All scrap and unused foil must be accurately weighed and labeled. Document and return unused materials to stock for accurate inventory control.
- Pull Production WO Kits as assigned.
- Conduct assigned routine cycle counting and participate in annual physical inventory activities as required.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, as well as Logistics and Production department supervision.
- Comply with GMP’s & SQF related to handling of materials and equipment.
- Follows environmental & safety policies and acts in compliance with US laws.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Must be able to work 12 hours shifts, 4pm-4am
