Job Summary
We’re looking for a young and energetic and personable Bartender to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the heart of the bar, crafting delicious cocktails, serving beverages with a smile, and ensuring our guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, has excellent customer service skills, and thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner to create a welcoming atmosphere and provide personalized drink recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the bar’s creative offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Restock bar supplies regularly and assist with inventory management to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings preferred.
- Knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer brewing processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments that require excellent customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Hospitality industry experience that demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced settings.
