We are looking for an experienced, motivated General Manager to lead our restaurant team!
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands restaurant operations, knows how to develop a strong team, and can balance great guest service with strong financial results. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, holds their team accountable, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop employees
- Build and maintain a strong management team
- Create schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Manage labor costs and control overtime
- Monitor food and beverage costs
- Complete inventory and oversee ordering
- Maintain food quality and portion standards
- Ensure excellent guest service
- Handle guest concerns professionally
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Maintain food safety and health department standards
- Monitor cash handling, discounts, voids, and deposits
- Help increase sales through promotions and community involvement
- Review restaurant performance and develop plans for improvement
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant management experience required
- General Manager experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing food cost, labor, inventory, and scheduling
- Ability to train, coach, and hold employees accountable
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Guest-focused attitude
- Dependable and professional
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- A leader who is willing to work alongside their team—not manage from the office
