POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervises and directs the day to day operations of the Men's Center. Ensure clients' needs are met, providing food, clothing, shelter, and a safe environment.
JOB DUTIES:
Facility:
- Ensure cooperation among the different aspects of the Men's Center along with the other Jimmie Hale Mission branches
- Maintain good relations with area churches, a positive perception by contributors and local service and police agencie
- Ensure facility is maintained for functionality, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with local regulations
- Supervise the general upkeep and usage of Mission vehicles
Reporting:
- Prepare and provide monthly reports to the Executive Director for the Men's Center's activities
- Observe fiscal responsibility and provide adequate records to the Director of Finance of funds appropriated for operating expenses
- Executes policies in accordance with JHM objectives and make any necessary decisions to maintain them
- Direct all internal activities of the Men's Center
- Conducts residential room inspections and report results to the Director of Operations
Client-care:
- Ensure discipline is maintained and carried out in a Christlike manner among staff, program participants, and overnight guests
- Counsel and resolves issues with program individuals as well as staff
- Resolve/Mediate conflicts arising between Staff, Residents, and Transients;
- Communicate with Director of Programs regarding dismissal of Program participants
Staffing:
- Oversee the personnel of the Men's Center including, Kitchen, Transportation, and residential staff
- Maintain records of all staff Holidays, Sick-leave, and Vacation time
- Review and approve payroll information in payroll system for all direct reports
- Work in cooperation with Human Resources regarding the hiring, disciplining, and dismissal of Men's Center staff
- Conduct regular staff meetings to assure that all staff are trained and well-informed
In addition to the above areas of responsibility, the Men's Center Director shall carry out such other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience
Bachelors degree, nonprofit organization, or similar concentration and/or have 5+ years of experience in community relations, ministry and/or business.
Skills
Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Standard Office Equipment and Customer Service skills required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate, reach with hands and arms and to speak and listen.

Requirements
Able to work at least 40 hours per business week generally from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. yet will be required to work outside of the business office and beyond office hours and days, including holidays occasionally.
Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
