We are looking for an experienced Sandwich Maker who is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and preparing high-quality sandwiches with consistency and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who has previous restaurant or café experience and enjoys working as part of a team during busy service periods.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and quality standards Maintain speed and accuracy during busy lunch and peak service hours Safely operate kitchen equipment including slicers, grills, and ovens
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Keep prep stations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shifts Assist with ingredient prep, inventory checks, and restocking as needed Provide friendly and professional customer service when taking orders or answering questions
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, deli, café, or sandwich shop required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Comfortable using kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens
- Experience with POS systems (Aloha preferred) is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends or peak lunch hours if required
