Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Line Cook for both evening and morning shifts to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Whether working during the day or evening, you will play a vital part in maintaining the kitchen’s efficiency, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in menu planning to ensure variety and quality of offerings
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Support kitchen operations during busy hours by managing multiple stations effectively
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and rotation to minimize waste
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Strong background in food industry settings such as restaurants or catering services
- Proven culinary experience with a focus on fine dining or upscale food preparation
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently during both morning (AM) and evening (PM) shifts
- Experience with menu planning, food service, and catering is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
