We are seeking an energetic and experienced Hiring Hostess to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel instantly welcomed
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS (Point of Sale)
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assisting with reservations or questions
- Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring it is inviting and professional at all times
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
- Support food service staff during busy periods by managing waitlists and communicating guest needs effectively
Qualifications
- Proven host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Familiarity with restaurant operations
- Experience using POS systems
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow seamlessly
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and professional throughout shifts
