Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of our residential or commercial spaces. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to ensure spotless surfaces.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with precision.
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
- Manage residential or commercial cleaning schedules efficiently using time management skills to maximize productivity.
- Conduct outdoor work as needed, including sweeping patios, cleaning outdoor furniture, and maintaining yard cleanliness.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance needs.
- Use manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning or rearranging tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving bulky items.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or clients.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Experience with laundry processes and custodial responsibilities is preferred.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces; flexibility to adapt to various cleaning environments is essential.
