Description:
The Graphic Design Intern / Assistant is a part-time role at GC America. The position will work 2-3 days per week for 8 hours each day. The Graphic Design Intern / Assistant is responsible for assisting with the execution and design of GC America’s creative initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
The Graphic Design Intern / Assistant will help with the following:

Packaging development and editing

Production based design tasks

Advertisement execution

Image manipulation
-
Additional projects as needed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the design and production of sales and marketing needs
-
Assist in the production of coop ads/dealer needs, supply artwork in whatever format required

Closely work with Marketing and Regulatory Affairs to develop and/or edit product packaging
-
Assist with social media/digital initiatives as needed

Assist with GC America website as needed
-
Perform other duties or special projects as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Pursuing or have completed bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field

Minimum 4 years of experience in Graphic Design

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Environment

Strong project planning and management skills

Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills

Strong organization skills to handle multiple projects at once

Strong understanding of marketing creative development, processes, and digital initiatives

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment with multiple, varied tasks and assignments with tight timelines.

Understand basic business principles in sales and marketing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in graphic design

Abobe Creative Suite (exceptional understanding of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Environment
