Job Summary
The Enterprise Business Development Manager is a senior, consultative role responsible for expanding market access and accelerating enterprise-level client acquisition for ComTec’s cost-containment and utility optimization services.
This position is designed for a seasoned professional with a background in supply chain, procurement, cost optimization, or operational finance and targeting Private Equity. The role focuses on executive-level relationship development, strategic partnerships, and deal enablement rather than high-volume transactional sales.
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $100,000. (commensurate with experience and network)
OTE: $150,000 - $200,000.
Base Salary Range: $100,000.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Market Development

Cold calling organizations well-suited for cost-containment and utility optimization services

Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with CFOs, procurement, finance, operations, and facilities leaders

Leverage common buying triggers including margin pressure, audits, utility increases, and M&A activity
Strategic Partnerships & Referral Channels

Build referral relationships with:

Accounting and advisory firms
-
Energy, telecom, and utility consultants
-
Procurement and supply chain advisors
-
Industry associations and professional networks
-
Establish structured, repeatable referral arrangements

Position ComTec as a trusted advisory partner rather than a transactional vendor
Deal Enablement & Executive Support

Support ownership and senior leadership during later-stage opportunities

Assist with ROI modeling, savings narratives, and executive business cases

Translate technical cost-containment concepts into clear financial and executive language
Market Intelligence & Positioning

Provide feedback on buyer motivations, objections, and competitive dynamics

Contribute to refinement of messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy
What This Role Is Not

Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

Supply chain management

Strategic procurement

Cost optimization or cost containment

Operational finance or advisory consulting

Direct experience working with CFOs and senior decision-makers

Strong executive presence and professional credibility

Established industry network

Ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment
Incentive Compensation Includes:
