We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting financial compliance initiatives. Automotive experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices using Reynolds Ignite software.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable transactions efficiently.
- Manage invoice approval workflows, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls for financial reporting.
- Maintain detailed records of all payable transactions, supporting audit readiness and regulatory compliance efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on accounts payable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial concepts like debits & credits.
- Experience working with Reynolds Ignite or other dealership software.
- Familiarity with internal controls such as SOX compliance and audit procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel—for data entry, analysis, and reporting purposes.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analysis skills for account reconciliation and error resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to perform data entry accurately at high speed (10 key typing).
