Alpine Truss LLC is hiring a Truss Logistics Assistant Scheduler to support the daily coordination of truss deliveries from our manufacturing facility to job sites. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented position that assists in scheduling, communication, compliance tracking, and coordination across production, loading, and field operations.
Responsibilities to Assist with-
Assist in creating and maintaining daily and weekly delivery schedules.
Support coordination with customers to confirm delivery dates, times, and job-site readiness.
Help schedule trucks and drivers based on load size, location, equipment needs, and delivery priority.
Coordinate with Production to help ensure truss packages are completed on time for scheduled deliveries.
Assist the yard/loading team in staging and prioritizing outgoing loads.
Verify and document job-site access details, crane requirements, unloading instructions, and special delivery notes.
Provide drivers with accurate and complete delivery information.
Monitor active deliveries throughout the day and escalate delays, schedule changes, or job-site issues as needed.
Assist in rescheduling deliveries when production or field conditions change.
Maintain accurate scheduling records and delivery documentation.
Support coordination between Production, Sales, Design, and Management teams.
Help maximize truck utilization and reduce unnecessary trips, downtime, and overtime.
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable DOT regulations, including hours-of-service tracking, load limits, and transportation safety requirements.
Support permitting coordination for oversize/overweight loads, ensuring required permits and documentation are properly prepared and filed prior to dispatch.
Qualifications-
Experience in truss manufacturing, lumber/building materials, construction logistics, or transportation support roles preferred.
Basic understanding of delivery scheduling, routing, or freight coordination.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and permitting processes is a plus.
Ability to support coordination of multiple trucks, drivers, customers, and priorities.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in problem-solving as issues arise.
Basic computer proficiency; experience with dispatch, ERP, or scheduling systems is a plus.

Compensation: Competitive; based on experience.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday. Some early-morning coordination may be required based on delivery schedules.
