At FASTSIGNS of Maple Shade, we love what we do, and we are looking to add an experienced, detail-oriented Vinyl Graphic Installer to our fast-paced, growing team.
As a Vinyl Graphic Installer, you’ll play a vital role in transforming our clients’ physical spaces. You will be responsible for applying vinyl graphics, vehicle wraps, window film, wall murals, and floor graphics with extreme precision to surfaces such as glass, interior walls, textured walls, retail displays, and unique architectural surfaces. You’ll use specialized tools to prep, squeegee, trim, and heat-set vinyl both indoors and outdoors, making every day a rewarding new challenge. Because every surface and environment is a little different, you should be a natural problem solver with patience, a steady hand, and a sharp eye for alignment. Most of your days will be spent transforming surfaces alongside a supportive team who truly cares about our customers’ success.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years of professional vinyl installation experience is required. Proven expertise with full/partial vehicle wraps, wall graphics, window films, and surface preparation.
- Must-Haves: A valid Driver’s License with a clean record. Mastery of vinyl tools (heat guns, knifeless tape, specialized squeegees, precision utility knives).
- Mindset: Extreme attention to detail is essential. You must possess strong problem-solving abilities, patience, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills are an absolute must. Clear and immediate communication between the field, the shop, and the customer is crucial for our business to run smoothly. Because this role requires constant logging, photo updates, and team check-ins, strong communication skills are a non-negotiable requirement.
- Integrity: We value honesty, dependability, and a strong work ethic. You will often represent our company on-site with clients, so professional integrity is a non-negotiable trait.
Key Responsibilities
- Vinyl Graphic & Wrap Installation: Install a wide variety of vinyl products including full and partial vehicle wraps, wall murals, window graphics/perfs, frosted/etched glass films, floor graphics, and cut vinyl lettering. Perform clean removals of old graphics when necessary.
- Surface Preparation: Inspect and meticulously clean, degrease, and prep all application surfaces (vehicle paint, glass, drywall, metal) to ensure optimal adhesive bonding.
- Full Vinyl Production & Shop Support: Sole ownership of the shop’s vinyl workflow—including plot cutting, weeding, masking, laminating, and trimming graphics. Strategically stage and prep all graphics, substrates, and toolkits ahead of time to ensure seamless field installations.
- Efficiency and Collaboration: Complete multiple installations daily. Coordinate closely with sales, management, design, and production teams to ensure jobs are completed exactly to the job’s specifications.
- Safety: Strictly follow safety protocols on-site and maintain high standards of vehicle and client-property care during installations. Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts when installing elevated graphics.
A Typical Day in The Life
Your day starts at our Maple Shade shop at 8:00 AM with a quick morning huddle with the production manager. From there, you will gather your prepped vinyl rolls, tools, and equipment, loading up into our installation van or working directly in our garage bay.
On any given day, you might wrap a commercial fleet vehicle in our shop, head out to install a full-scale retail window graphic, or mount a large wall mural in an office space. Typically, the day ends at 5:00 PM (except Fridays, which end at 12:00 PM!). In the event that install jobs are finished early, you will head back to the shop to prep graphics, weed vinyl, and organize materials for upcoming jobs.
FASTSIGNS provides all the necessary specialty tools to efficiently and effectively complete jobs, including an iPad for documentation and updating jobs in our project management software systems.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- 2+ years of professional Vinyl Graphic / Vehicle Wrap Installation experience (required)
- Experience with weeding, masking, laminating, and print production (Preferred)
License/Certification
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (REQUIRED)
- 3M, Avery, or PDAA Vinyl Certification (Major Plus!)
Physical Requirements
- High manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina
- Ability to lift heavy materials and graphic rolls (up to 50–75 lbs regularly)
- Ability to bend, kneel, stretch, and work comfortably from ladders and lifts for extended periods
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in surface prep techniques, heat-gun manipulation, knifeless tape execution, and seamless vinyl stretching/tucking
- Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, and a computer to navigate our project and business management software programs
- Ability to properly document job site measurements, take clear photos, and write detailed notes for each installation/survey
