Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead and oversee electrical construction projects within the commercial sector. Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage electrical crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinate construction schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy, compliance, and clarity before commencement of work.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage subcontractor contracts, procurement processes, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle to verify workmanship meets industry standards.
- Oversee budgeting activities related to labor, materials, and equipment; monitor costs to stay within project budgets.
- Facilitate communication between management, clients, subcontractors, and team members for seamless project execution.
- Lead safety meetings, conduct site safety audits, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Utilize construction management software for scheduling, documentation, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in commercial electrical construction with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with construction management tools such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, ProCore or similar software.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with construction estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project management.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for clear supervision and coordination across teams.
- Valid electrical license or certification preferred; relevant certifications in construction safety highly desirable.
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Knowledge of construction regulations specific to commercial projects including quality control standards.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
