Overview
We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. Most sessions are for 30 minutes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and pain relief through various massage techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services in a professional setting.
Pay ranges from $40-$55 an hour. Based on session times.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Provide various types of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Develop personalized treatment plans focused on pain management and overall wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance service offerings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient health goals.
Requirements
Must be reliable and understand the importance of showing up for our clients.
- Valid GA state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively.
- Previous experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of occupational health principles is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
