We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Floor
Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, particularly in fine dining, and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.
As a Floor Manager, you will ensure that our guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guest Experience Management:
* Ensure guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave.
* Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional, timely, and empathetic manner.
* Maintain a calm, approachable demeanor in all situations, ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Regularly check tables to ensure guests are satisfied with their food, drinks, and overall experience.
* Staff Supervision and Training:

* Supervise, mentor, and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
* Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and the expected level of service.
* Maintain a productive and positive working environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
* Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper staffing levels for shifts.
* Operations and Floor Management:
* Oversee the flow of service, ensuring efficient seating arrangements, timely food delivery, and smooth operations.
* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are executed to the restaurant's standards.
* Monitor restaurant cleanliness and ensure that all areas are maintained according to hygiene and safety regulations.
* Manage reservations and walk-ins, ensuring an optimal seating arrangement for the best guest experience.
* Quality Control:
* Ensure all food and beverages meet the restaurant's high standards of quality and presentation.
* Conduct regular checks on the dining room, bar area, and bathrooms to ensure cleanliness and comfort.
* Handle and resolve any issues with guest orders or service, ensuring minimal disruption to the dining experience.
* Financial and Administrative Duties:
* Assist in the preparation of daily reports, tracking sales, tips, inventory levels, and staff performance.
* Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and financial reporting.
* Monitor and control labor costs to stay within budget guidelines.
* Health and Safety Compliance:
* Ensure adherence to all local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
* Regularly inspect the restaurant for any safety hazards, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
* Communication and Coordination:
* Maintain open communication with the kitchen, bar, and management to ensure efficient operations.
* Report directly to the General Manager or
Operations Manager about any challenges or opportunities for improvement.
* Event and Special Occasion Coordination:

* Help coordinate special events, private dining experiences, and large parties to ensure smooth operations and memorable guest experiences.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience (3+ years) as a Floor Manager or Supervisor in a high-end, fine-dining restaurant environment.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
* Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
* In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, health and safety standards, and restaurant operations.
* Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
