Join our team as a Window Tinter and bring your best skill to the shop. You will be responsible for applying high-quality window tinting films to vehicles, enhancing both their appearance and functionality. Your expertise is everything. Your skill set ability to work worth your team and ability to service the customer will dictate your pay.
We are building the best team in San Diego from scratch right now. You can be a part of this team or you can lead it.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and masking areas to ensure precise tint application
- Measure and cut tinting film accurately to fit various vehicle windows and shapes
- Apply window tint films smoothly using specialized tools, ensuring bubble-free and even coverage
- Use power tools and hand tools safely to trim excess film and achieve a professional finish
- Inspect completed work for quality, adherence, and clarity, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean workspace, including proper disposal of waste materials and tools
- Assist with related vehicle detailing, glass installation, or minor auto body repairs when required
Skills
- Must be able to tint a model Y roof by yourself.
- Must be able to use CORE and a Plotter
- Prior experience in dealership or automotive service environments is highly preferred.
- at least 1 year of experience needed to be on this team.
- Knowledge of automotive glass installation, auto body repair, and vehicle maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) considerations during tinting processes
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision and quality workmanship
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding setting
- Basic auto estimating skills are a plus for understanding project scope and costs

Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour
