Mechanical Electrical worker Job Description
The Mechanical electrical worker’s job is to perform a routine and extensive range of work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities, and equipment under general supervision. Electrical knowledge in small curcuits. They execute work within established procedures and processes under both verbal and written instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The position is afternoon hours. Primary working hours are from 3p - 11:30p. We will consider options to work other hours of preference depending on skill level. Although change of hours is possible
- Performing repair or general Maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier, and painting tasks.
- Troubleshooting Repairing and maintaining Machinery, Facilities, and General upkeep.
- Performing major repairs, troubleshooting, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Electrical repairs on equipment
- Repairing Washers, Dryers, Sorting, Ironers, Folders, Conveyors, and Hydraulics.
- Servicing feeders, folders, and emergency equipment, reporting mechanical malfunctions.
- Electrical knowledge and awareness.
- Light Plumbing and welding
- Setting up and breaking shift coverage for employees to start or finish daily.
- Activating and deactivating building alarms and responding to alarm calls after and during regular work hours.
Skills and Specifications
· Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools.
· Ability to operate a forklift, manlift.
· Should follow oral or written instructions.
- Ability to trouble shoot with volt meter
· Communicate efficiently and fluently in both written and oral form. English or Spanish
· Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
-Read and understand electrical schematic. An electrical exam will be provided to establish baseline skill level.
Education and Qualifications
· Degree or high school education in any field from an accredited college.
· A valid driver’s license.
· A strong electrical background preferred

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
