Job Overview
We are looking to add a Team Member, to the Turf Crew of our Groundskeeping Division.
As the primary team responsible for the outfield (and other grass playing surfaces) maintenance as well as grass care throughout multiple complexes, parks and fields, the Turf Crew ensures the grass is well-maintained and free from damage.
Work alongside our Infield Crew to maintain and prepare ball fields for play and parks/complex for visitors.
Must be a driven, caring, and prideful individual who works well independently within a team environment.
Duties include, but not are not limited to:
- Mowing, Trimming, Edging & Pruning lawns.
- Seeding, Sodding, Sowing & Treating
- Execute groundskeeping responsibilities to keep properties clean and visually appealing.
- Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper soil health and plant selection.
- Watering
- Weeding
Product application may be included, if/when applicable.
Cross-training throughout all teams within the Groundskeeping Division is expected.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year related experience for Crew Members
- Experience working for a commercial lawn service is preferred.
- Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable.
- Physically able to perform assigned and expected duties of the Groundskeeping Division.
- Ability and willingness to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Effective communication.
- Properly use, care, and maintain equipment.
