Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated, detail-oriented Electronics Calibration Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform calibration of electrical instrumentation, meters, power quality systems, and precision measuring instruments using industry-standard tools such as ohmmeters, calibrators, and multimeters.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and control system diagrams.
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment to identify faults and implement effective repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on calibration equipment and assist in industrial maintenance tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with field service teams to perform on-site calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for customer equipment across manufacturing facilities or industrial sites.
- Maintain detailed records of calibration activities, maintenance logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation for audit purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as an electronics technician in industrial environments with a strong background in calibration and maintenance of electrical instrumentation.
- Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics related to electrical instrumentation.
- Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters, multimeters, calibrators, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their calibration processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and engineering documentation while adhering to strict safety standards.
- Prior experience working with electrical calibration, electrical safety equipment, and in high voltage environments is desirable
- Military experience,an associates or bachelor degree, or trade school certification required.
Pay: $52,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
