Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Construction Project Superintendent to oversee and manage a variety of construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate multiple teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. As the cornerstone of our construction operations, you will drive project success through meticulous planning, supervision, and communication, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability on every site.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate seamless workflow and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft Projects or similar construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work sites regularly, ensuring compliance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Manage site safety programs in accordance with OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols rigorously.
- Review and interpret construction contracts, change orders, and scope documents; ensure all work aligns with contractual obligations.
- Utilize project management and construction estimating software to track progress, manage documentation, and control project costs.
- Supervise field personnel by providing clear direction, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incident reports, change orders, and project documentation for transparency and accountability.
Experience
- Proven management experience in commercial construction projects with a strong background in supervising a variety of teams on active sites.
- Knowledge of utilization of construction management software and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and ability to read technical drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards along with practical experience implementing safety protocols on-site.
- Hands-on construction site experience with familiarity commercial construction and general contracting.
- Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising diverse teams while maintaining high standards of quality control.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
