Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- US Citizenship
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of vehicle regulatory requirements (FMVSS, SAE, NFPA)
- Experience with simulation, lab, and field validation
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop firetruck sub-systems
- Implement hardware and software solutions to improve quality and performance
- Monitor product performance through data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product improvements
- Create and manage detail drawings and Bill of Materials
- Resolve technical inquiries with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Service, Sales & Marketing
- Evaluate new products with suppliers to ensure quality standards
