A Medical Assistant is needed for a permanent, full-time role supporting a community-based clinic. The MA will rotate across multiple units — including medical, behavioral health, optometry, and pediatrics — providing back-office support, patient flow assistance, and clinical tasks. This position requires compassion, adaptability, and comfort working in fast-paced environments serving low-income families.

Schedule: 8 AM–5 PM
Days: Monday–Friday
Additional: Rotating weekend schedule once per month

Interview: No client interview — Amergis conducts interviews
Interview Format: Virtual Teams meeting (30 minutes, camera on)
Provide back-office MA support across multiple units
Assist with patient flow, vitals, rooming, and documentation
Support medical, behavioral, optometry, and pediatric teams
Maintain accurate charting in EPIC
Follow clinic protocols and safety standards
Deliver compassionate care to diverse patient populations
Adapt to rotating assignments and fast-paced workflows
MA Diploma
BLS Certification
Minimum 6 months back-office MA experience within the past year (non-negotiable)
Compassion for working with low-income families
Candidates who previously worked at BACH are not eligible

Environment: The clinic serves low-income individuals and families across multiple care lines. Staff must align with the mission of delivering exceptional health and social services and excel in fast-paced, community-focused settings.
Medicals and fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of offer
Includes: TB, Drug Screen, Dress Code form, Physical, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap
Weekly Pay Package: $1,000/week Hourly Pay: $25/hr
