We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides/ Certified Nursing Assistants to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, including those requiring memory care.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support clients in daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Observe and report changes in client conditions or behaviors to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including those with developmental disabilities.
- Ensure a safe environment by identifying potential hazards and addressing them promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
