Our established busy group podiatry practice is seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a motivated professional who is compassionate, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories/vitals
- Assisting the podiatrist with in-office procedures
- Prepping and sterilizing instruments
- Performing wound care and dressing changes
- Taking and documenting X-rays
- Managing EMR documentation and patient charts
- Providing excellent patient service and education
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in podiatry, orthopedic, or surgical medical assisting preferred
- Strong clinical and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of EMR systems
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required with relevant experience
