Zum is seeking responsible and safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Non-CDL Van Drivers for our school transportation services. Responsibilities include:
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities in a van or small vehicle
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
- Ensure student safety during loading, unloading, and while in transit
- Adhere to all traffic laws and local rules
- Manage student behavior and maintain discipline in the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to supervisors
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- School Bus Driver Permit (non-cdl permit + 8hr first divison class)
- 3 years of driving experience
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children
