Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders and transactions accurately.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in food handling procedures, including storage, portioning, and preparation to ensure freshness and safety.
- Support team members during peak hours by managing retail sales transactions and serving customers efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and operating kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
