Position Summary
The Picker is responsible for accurately picking, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast paced distribution center environment. This role requires attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and a commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.
Essential Responsibilities

Pick and build customer orders accurately and efficiently based on daily shipping requirements

Stage, organize, and prepare orders on skids/pallets for shipment

Continue picking ahead for upcoming orders once daily order requirements have been completed

Assist with additional warehouse tasks and priorities as directed after order-picking activities are finished

Operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers and reach trucks, in a safe and efficient manner

Utilize RF scanners and warehouse technology to accurately track inventory and order fulfillment

Pick products from elevated storage locations and high shelving areas

Verify product quantities and order accuracy before staging for shipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including completing daily housekeeping responsibilities in assigned areas

Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and work instructions
What You'll Bring

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday

Ability to work on-site at our Atlanta, GA distribution center

Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision

At least 1 year of reach truck experience

At least 1 year of order picker experience

Experience picking products from high shelving and elevated storage locations

Comfortable working with warehouse technology, including scanners and printers

Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to assist with additional tasks as business needs require
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.

Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse best practices.
