Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and organized Part-Time Assistant Dietary Manager to join our team. If you're passionate about nutrition, food service, leadership, and providing an exceptional dining experience for seniors, we'd love to hear from you.
As an Assistant Dietary Manager, you'll work closely with the Dietary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dietary department, ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with food service or dietary management experience who enjoys working in a healthcare setting.

Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the daily operations of the dietary department.

Help supervise dietary staff and support scheduling, training, and daily workflow.

Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician orders, therapeutic diets, and resident preferences.

Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, food safety standards, and infection prevention guidelines.

Monitor food quality, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.

Assist with inventory management, food ordering, and controlling food costs.

Collaborate with nursing staff, dietitians, and other departments to meet residents' nutritional needs.

Promote excellent customer service and a positive dining experience for residents and families.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in dietary services, food service management, healthcare nutrition, or long-term care preferred.

Dietary Manager certification is a plus but not required.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and therapeutic diets.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
