Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Caretaker to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces across designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Ensure trash is regularly collected and properly disposed of or recycled
- Monitor facility conditions daily to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Follow established cleaning procedures tailored to specific environments such as hospitals or restaurants to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials as needed
- Support setup and breakdown for events or activities within the facility when required
Experience
- Prior retail store cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Experience in hotel or hospitality cleaning roles is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures in educational institutions or healthcare settings such as hospitals enhances your suitability
- Previous work in restaurant or gym environments demonstrates versatility in cleaning techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards are essential for success in this role
