American Industrial Sales, LLC (AIS) is hiring for the position of a Journeyman or Master Electrician to our team. AIS, LLC operates out of Berlin, WI and provides finishing systems across North America
Job Functions:
· Help design, build, and prepare electrical control cabinets and sub-assemblies for the systems we produce. The candidate will be required to help determine and source the required parts for building our systems.
· Read and interpret wiring diagrams, adjust wiring and diagrams to different components utilized and update schematics as required.
· Ability to design and build system control panels in a professional manner while working with others to complete systems from start to finish.
· Must be able to use common hand tools to accurately prepare, install, label, wire, and lift components up to 25 lbs occasionally.
· Must have good experience with VFD’s and PLC / HMI Systems.
· Must be able to multitask on projects and work with others to ensure project completion
· Must maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
· Work on other tasks as assigned to include facility maintenance and machines.
· Must be able to interface with customers as required for any troubleshooting or other assistance.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years’ experience building Industrial (not commercial or residential) electrical control panels – Preferred but will consider a candidate with less experience and good knowledge.
· Applicant must be able to work well with others, be motivated & self-reliant.
· 40-50 Hours per week, M-F with overtime opportunities as required.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· Must be able to pass a drug test.
· High School Diploma
· AutoCAD experience is preferred.
· Successful completion of Journeyman or Master certification in Industrial Electrician trade
Benefits Include:
· Wage: $25-$32 per hour for Journeyman depending on experience. Up to $38 per hour for Master depending on experience.
