Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and guiding our clients through their cannabis purchasing experience. You will be responsible for educating customers about various products, assisting with selections based on their needs, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. A passion for cannabis and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for this role.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Educate customers on different strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Provide product demos to enhance customer understanding and experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for sales transactions.
- Handle cash register duties, including processing payments accurately.
- Stock shelves and ensure product displays are organized and visually appealing.
- Address customer inquiries via phone with proper etiquette and professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply for effective communication with diverse clientele.
- Strong communication skills to convey product knowledge clearly.
- Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in cannabis products and willingness to learn more about the industry.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older as per state regulations.
