Catering Administrator – Kosher Catering

We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and customer-focused Catering Administrator to support our growing kosher catering operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with clients, coordinating events, and helping drive business growth through marketing and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Book and coordinate catering events from inquiry through execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring outstanding customer service.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and event documentation.
- Manage event calendars and scheduling.
- Coordinate with kitchen, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and community outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with synagogues, schools, corporate clients, and community organizations.
- Track leads, follow up on inquiries, and help grow catering sales.
- Maintain client databases and administrative records.
- Support special projects and other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, event planning, administration, or sales preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience working in kosher catering, kosher food service, or a kosher-certified food operation is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with kosher standards, Jewish customs, and the Jewish community is highly desirable.
- Professional, detail-oriented, and customer-service driven.
