Love soccer? Love working with kids? Come coach with us!
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Youth Soccer Coach to join our after-school sports program.
This is a hands-on opportunity to introduce young athletes to soccer, help them develop their skills, build confidence, and most importantly, have FUN while doing it!
Our coaches create a positive and encouraging environment where every child feels included, supported, and excited to participate. You don't have to be a professional coach — we're looking for someone who knows the game, enjoys working with children, and brings great energy to every session.
Pay: $35–$50 per 75-minute session, based on experience.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:45–4:00 PM
Commitment: 1–4 consistent afternoons per week
Additional opportunities: Coaching hours may increase as enrollment and programming expand.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, age-appropriate soccer sessions for elementary-aged students.
- Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, movement, and teamwork.
- Create an energetic and positive environment where kids enjoy coming to practice.
- Encourage players of all skill levels and help them build confidence.
- Teach sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and good character.
- Keep students active, engaged, and participating throughout each session.
- Help organize and properly use soccer equipment.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students.
- Serve as a positive role model on and off the field.
- Follow school expectations and contribute to a positive Catholic school environment.
Experience
- Previous soccer playing and/or coaching experience is preferred.
- Experience working with children is a plus.
- College athletes, former high-school or club athletes, coaches, teachers, and education or sports-related students are encouraged to apply.
- Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, reliable, patient, and loves working with kids.
- Must be comfortable leading and encouraging a group of elementary-aged students.
