Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and assess their skincare needs through engaging conversations and active listening
- Conduct professional product demonstrations to showcase skincare solutions and educate customers on benefits and usage
- Recommend tailored skincare routines and products based on individual skin types and concerns
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cash handling with precision
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized stock levels, merchandising displays, and ensure product availability on the sales floor
- Utilize social media management skills to engage with clients online, promote new products, and enhance brand presence
- Assist with front desk duties, including phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service in multiple languages if applicable
- Support retail math calculations for inventory management, sales tracking, and achieving sales targets
- Conduct product demos confidently, including makeup application techniques when relevant to client needs
Skills
- Proficiency with Millennium or similar salon software for client management and sales tracking
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Knowledge of cosmetology principles, skincare ingredients, and beauty & cosmetics sales techniques
- Experience with social media management to engage customers online effectively
- Ability to perform makeup applications confidently when required for client consultations or promotional events
- Excellent organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining a tidy work environment
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and POS transactions
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Customer service expertise with a friendly phone etiquette approach for inquiries or appointment scheduling
- Multilingual capabilities to serve a diverse customer base effectively
