OVERNIGHT, UNATTENDED DELIVERIES
Qualifications
- Must be at least 26 years old
- Must possess a minimum of 18 months of verifiable tractor/trailer or straight truck driving experience within the last 3 years
- Experience in delivery driving, load and unload procedures, and route driving
- Strong understanding of freight handling and safety regulations
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout a shift
Must be able to pass company's Physical Ability Test (PAT)
- Must have DOT medical card or be able to get it before hire
- Must have clean driving record (no DUI or reckless acts)
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test & physical
Job Summary: Aero Global Logistics is a DDS company that hauls Ford automotive parts to dealers. All routes are unattended, overnight routes. Because of our facility location we are required to hire domicile drivers to complete deliveries in a relay manner. Doing this requires that all drivers maintain professionalism and loyalty while being their own boss.
Because you are meeting after the midnight mark your schedule will be Tuesday AM through Saturday AM
AVAILABLE ROUTE - RTD1 Straight Truck
12:30am – Arrive to domicile facility to meet transload driver and transload freight to your truck
Deliver to 9 dealerships in the Smithton, PA area.
11:30am- End trip back to the meeting point to park the truck.
The pay for this route is $260/night = $1,300/week
Because your start time is after midnight, your schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday AM
Please note this is logistics and is not a set schedule. Times may vary based on volume, traffic, weather, freight delays, and other factors.
AERO DETAILS
Sign-On Bonus: We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus, with $2,000 paid after 90 days and the remaining $1,000 paid after 120 days of employment.
Pay and Weekly Bonuses: Payments are issued weekly via paper check on Mondays or direct deposit on Tuesdays. You can also earn a $50 weekly bonus by completing all assigned duties and calling dispatch once your route is finished.
Benefits and Insurance
- 60 Days: Health insurance eligibility begins.
- 90 Days: Eligibility for 401K, dental, vision, and paid holidays. The company also provides employer-paid life insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage.
- 1 Year: You will receive one week of paid vacation.
We have an onsite dispatcher that can assist with any issues or concerns that may come up during your route. All drivers are supplied a fuel card, iPhone for scanning, and a route book that gives step by step instructions and details for each stop.
