Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and seating arrangements effectively
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures
- Experience in guest services roles such as host/hostess or server is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order calculations required
- Knowledge of culinary techniques or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding menu items and food prep processes
