Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
We are a CPA firm in Walnut Creek, seeking a reliable and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, managing office tasks, and supporting our team during tax seasons. We are looking for a critical thinker with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Peak tax season is between February 1st – April 15th. Work weeks will be from Monday – Saturday during this time, including additional overtime as needed.
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday – Friday
- Weekends as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect inquiries as needed.
- Process payments.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently.
- Organize and prepare documents and folders for appointments.
- Assist with general office duties, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills, and experience with CRM.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to work.
