Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our growing team in Midland, TX. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and environmental management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Assist in developing company-wide policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and root cause analysis to identify potential risks and develop corrective action plans.
- Lead safety training sessions and development programs to enhance employee awareness of workplace safety regulations, hazardous materials handling, and emergency procedures such as CPR and first aid.
- Ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations and environmental health standards by monitoring operations and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed report writing, and communicate findings to management to prevent recurrence.
- Help oversee OSHA compliance activities including recordkeeping, reporting, and inspections; stay current on evolving regulatory requirements in occupational health and environmental law.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments within the oil and gas industry with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental regulatory compliance (EPA standards), hazardous materials regulations, and workers' compensation law.
- Ability to conduct hazard assessments, root cause analysis, and incident investigations effectively.
- Great writing skills coupled with the ability to communicate complex safety concepts clearly across all levels of an organization.
- Certifications such as CPR/First Aid certification are highly desirable; ongoing professional development in occupational health expertise is preferred.

- This position will answer to HSE Management.
- Bilingual is a massive plus.
- Bachelor's in safety or science-related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in safety or oilfield chemicals is a plus.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
