Overview
We are seeking a licensed Utah attorney to assist primarily with court filings and document submission for civil litigation and collections matters. This is a limited-scope role focused on executing filings accurately and efficiently, with little responsibility for managing cases, client communication, or court appearances.
This position is best suited for an attorney who prefers behind-the-scenes legal work and is comfortable operating in a task-based, procedural capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, finalize, and file pleadings with Utah courts
- Submit documents through Utah court e-filing systems
- Ensure filings meet court formatting and procedural requirements
- Track and confirm successful submission of filings
- Make minor revisions to documents as needed for compliance
Role Scope
- No client management
- No case strategy responsibility
- No court appearances required
- Work is assigned on a per-project basis
Qualifications
- Active Utah Bar license (required)
- Familiarity with Utah court filing systems and procedures
- Experience with civil litigation or collections filings preferred
- Detail-oriented and able to execute tasks with minimal oversight
