1. Provide instruction to ABE, ESL and/or GED along with job search skills.
2. Evaluate students’ performance in accordance with established procedures and recommend program exit or continuation.
3. Apply principles of effective human relations, learning styles and cognitive development as they relate to the overall growth and development of students.
4. Consult with other professional staff to address issues and procedures for instructing and counseling students.
5. Resolve academic problems and is available for consultation at scheduled times.
6. Administer pre and post-tests as well as informal assessments to evaluate student progress and to incorporate individualized instruction or other academic support.
7. Participate in staff activities for in-service training and professional development.
8. Maintain, record, and report student daily or weekly attendance.
9. Maintain strict confidentiality and security of staff and student records.
10. Perform other related duties as required.
