We're looking for a credentialed, motivated, and detail-oriented associate to assist with a high-stakes plaintiffs'-side litigation practice (mostly class action employment discrimination, along with some antitrust price-fixing and qui tam cases) and antitrust counseling. We’re a small firm with a casual and friendly remote work environment.
Responsibilities will depend partly on experience, will include frequent travel to provide antitrust counseling at share group meetings (approximately 20 one- or two-day meetings per year, mostly at desirable locations in the East like Florida or Nashville, and grouped in the fall and spring), and may include assisting attorneys throughout all stages of the litigation process, from case development through trial and appeal. For example, litigation duties may include researching and writing briefs, reviewing and organizing documents and exhibits, drafting and responding to discovery requests, assisting with depositions, etc.
The ideal candidate would have strong research and writing skills, would have graduated towards the top of their class, and would have at least one or two years’ litigation experience. Clerkship experience preferred. Salary and responsibilities depend on qualifications, but will be at the higher end of a small law firm salary, with significant bonus potential based on individual performance and the performance of the firm. Position is fully remote.
To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, and salary expectations.
