Job Overview
We are seeking a hardworking, patient-focused Optician to join our team. You will work closely with our Lead Optician to provide exceptional service and ensure every patient receives eyewear that looks great, feels comfortable, and fits perfectly.
A great fit for this role takes pride in the details. You understand that properly fitting glasses is not a small step—it is essential to a patient’s comfort, vision, confidence, and overall experience.
What we’re looking for:
· Prior optician or optical retail experience preferred
· A strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to help wherever needed
· Outstanding customer-service skills and a warm, professional manner
· Strong knowledge of frame styling, lens options, measurements, adjustments, and repairs
· A careful eye for detail and a commitment to accurate, comfortable eyewear fitting
· Ability to follow the Lead Optician’s direction and work well as part of a team
· Organized, dependable, and comfortable in a busy patient-care environment
What you’ll do:
· Help patients select frames and lenses that suit their prescription, lifestyle, and style
· Take accurate measurements and ensure glasses are fitted, adjusted, and comfortable
· Make adjustments and repairs with care and precision
· Support the Lead Optician with daily optical operations
· Maintain organized frame displays, inventory, and work areas
· Deliver an excellent patient experience from the first greeting through final fitting
-Cut lenses to fit and appear without flaw in the patients selected frame
