Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service, selling our delectable French pastries and cakes, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and address inquiries to ensure a memorable and pleasant experience.
- Sales & Product Knowledge: Accurately describe and promote our range of French pastries and cakes, and handle transactions efficiently. Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer experience.
- Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including display areas, service counters, and dining areas. Follow sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of pastries, cakes, and other supplies. Assist in receiving and restocking inventory as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and support a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries in a professional manner.
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for maintaining cleanliness and presentation.
- Passion for Pastries: A genuine interest in French pastries and cakes is a plus.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
