What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across an educational location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with campus contacts and/or first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, assist with directions and general inquiries, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy-related concerns according to site guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
