Responsibilities
- Perform automotive structural repairs using MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair techniques to restore vehicle frames and bodies.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to repair sheet metal, panels, and other vehicle components.
- Conduct auto body repairs including bondo work, 3d measuring system, and parts replacement
- Install automotive parts and components with precision, ensuring proper fitment and alignment.
- Use fabrication skills for custom repairs or modifications involving sheet metal fabrication and fabrication repair techniques.
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed and communicate effectively
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in auto body repair, automotive structural repair, and auto restoration.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive parts installation equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive cosmetic repair techniques such as auto painting, detailing, and automotive body refinishing.
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication and fabrication repair techniques for custom or complex repairs.
- Capable of heavy lifting and working safely with automotive parts during assembly or repairs.
